Nicola rose from an ordinary background to become one of the most recognisable female professional golfers, motivational speakers, and coaches.
About me
I’m Nicola Bennett — a professional golfer turned coach, speaker, and advocate for positive change. My journey has taken me from competitive sport into helping people unlock resilience, confidence, and purpose. Whether through golf, leadership talks, or mentoring, my work is about empowering people to overcome obstacles and realise their potential. I believe adversity can shape strength, and I’m passionate about sharing that message with audiences everywhere.
My background
I began my career competing as a professional golfer and later qualified as a PGA Coach. Today I’m proud to be the only Black female PGA coach in the UK. Along the way, I’ve built one of the country’s most successful women’s golf programmes and serve as an ambassador for The Golf Foundation, helping introduce and inspire new generations to the sport.
Current goals
My focus now is on reaching a wider audience through keynote speaking, coaching, and media work. I share lessons from sport, personal growth, and leadership to help individuals and organisations build resilience and perform under pressure. From live television to large conference stages, my aim is to deliver messages that inspire action, strengthen mindset, and encourage people to push beyond their perceived limits.

How I will use your support
Support from backers will directly enable me to continue competing and performing at the highest level. Professional golf requires significant investment in training, tournament entry fees, travel, accommodation, coaching, and essential equipment. Your support will help cover these core costs, allowing me to commit fully to my preparation and competition schedule on tour.
It will also provide the time and resources needed for focused training, strength and conditioning, and technical development – all crucial for maintaining peak performance. Your support will also help me continue my wider work as an advocate for golf, inspiring young people and opening doors for the next generation.
By helping remove some of the financial barriers that come with professional sport, your support makes it possible for me to concentrate on what matters most: competing, improving, and representing the next generation of diverse talent in golf.
